Pay Rate:  $16.00-$18.00/Hr

Job Summary: Big Bolt is looking for a top tier candidate to fill an immediate need. Under direction of the Plant Manager, the role of Machine OPERATOR is to run automatic and hand feed fastener drilling machines. This Job is for an operator with a minimum 2 years' experience in a factory environment with common knowledge in manufacturing fasteners.

 

What you will do:

  • Setup and change tooling as required
  • Must be comfortable standing/working 8 to 12 hours shift
  • Responsible for moving parts to the next stage of production
  • Responsible for first piece, during process, and last piece inspection
  • Use of Mathematics during set up process.

 

What you will need: 

  • High School Diploma
  • Machine operating: 1 year (Required)
  • Prior experience in the Fastener industry is desirable, but not required; eagerness to learn about the industry and business is a must
  • Must be able to read a Caliper.
  • Must be able to read a Micrometer.
  • Must be able to read blueprints.
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Good work ethic
  • Logical/Mathematical intelligence
