Your Role as Shipping Clerk:

As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring outgoing orders are processed, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate shipping records, coordinating with carriers, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Shipping & Documentation

• Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and labels.

• Inspect and verify outgoing shipments against sales orders/work orders.

• Maintain accurate shipping records and update systems with tracking information.

🔹 Order Fulfillment

• Verify and pack orders accurately, ensuring products are in good condition before shipment.

• Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.) to schedule pickups and shipments.

• Collaborate with receiving and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

🔹 Equipment & Safety

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely when required.

• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.

🔹 Other Duties as Assigned

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry)
