Your Role as Sales Assistant:

As a Sales Assistant, you will support the Sales Manager and team in driving customer satisfaction and improving the quoting and order management process. This entry-level sales role is designed to develop into a leadership position for motivated individuals with strong communication and organizational skills.


Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Sales Order & Quote Management
• Enter sales quotes and orders into NetSuite with input from Sales Manager
• Prepare and maintain sales quotes and identify routing steps
• Manage customer portals and maintain documentation for sales activities

🔹 Customer & Vendor Communication
• Follow up with customers on quotes and orders
• Coordinate with Sales, Quality, Purchasing, and Shipping teams
• Obtain pricing and manage purchase orders from vendors
• Expedite orders and handle returns (RMAs) and rework processing

🔹 Process Improvement & Support
• Assist with resolving material issues such as inventory discrepancies or operational errors
• Recommend improvements to sales processes
• Maintain accurate sales documentation and scan necessary records


What You Need to Succeed:

âś” Key Competencies:
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail
• Customer-first mindset with problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

âś” Qualifications:
• 2+ years of Sales Support experience
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
• Prior experience in the fastener industry is a plus but not required
