Warehouse Forklift Operator – 1st & 2nd Shifts

Big Bolt LLC is hiring an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to move materials, support shipping and receiving, and help maintain accurate inventory at our manufacturing facility.

This position is a good fit for someone who operates equipment safely, checks shipment details carefully, and works well with warehouse and production teams.

What you’ll handle

• Operate a forklift to unload deliveries, transport materials, and stage outgoing orders.

• Check incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.

• Supply production and shipping departments with the materials they need.

• Load outbound shipments accurately and securely.

• Inspect your forklift daily and report equipment problems or safety concerns.

• Record material movements to keep inventory information current.

• Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory checks.

• Maintain clear aisles and orderly storage areas.

• Follow company procedures, safety policies, and applicable OSHA requirements.

• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

Required experience and skills

• Previous experience operating a forklift.

• Current forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.

• Basic computer and math skills.

• Ability to read shipping paperwork, product labels, and work orders.

• Careful attention to accuracy and workplace safety.

• Ability to complete assignments independently and collaborate with teammates.

A high school diploma or GED and familiarity with shipping, receiving, or inventory control are preferred. Dependability and a strong work ethic are valued.

Physical requirements and work setting

This role involves working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment with varying temperatures. You must be able to:

• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.

• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist during the workday.

• Sit and operate a forklift for extended periods.
