Job Summary: Big Bolt is looking for a top tier candidate to fill an immediate need. Under direction of the CNC Supervisor. The CNC Operator utilizes a preprogrammed CNC machines to produce quality parts that meet customer specifications.
What you will do:
- Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
- Oversee CNC machines while they execute the job and make necessary adjustments to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements following manufacturer's instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Moves product to and from work area using dollies and forklifts.
- Maintain a clean work area by daily cleaning of machines, and regular disposal of savings according to company policies and standards.
- Other duties as requested or required.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in the Fastener industry is desirable, but not required; eagerness to learn about the industry and business is a must.
- Ability to measure accurately using a ruler, micrometer, caliper, gauges and other measuring devices.
- Ability to read and understand customer specification documents.
- Mechanically inclined
- Good work ethic
- Logical/Mathematical intelligence
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift

Job Summary: Big Bolt is looking for a top tier candidate to fill an immediate need. Under direction of the Plant Manager, the role of Machine OPERATOR is to run automatic and hand feed fastener drilling machines. This Job is for an operator with a minimum 2 years' experience in a factory environment with common knowledge in manufacturing fasteners.
What you will do:
- Setup and change tooling as required
- Must be comfortable standing/working 8 to 12 hours shift
- Responsible for moving parts to the next stage of production
- Responsible for first piece, during process, and last piece inspection
- Use of Mathematics during set up process.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma
- Machine operating: 1 year (Required)
- Prior experience in the Fastener industry is desirable, but not required; eagerness to learn about the industry and business is a must
- Must be able to read a Caliper.
- Must be able to read a Micrometer.
- Must be able to read blueprints.

Job Summary:Using a variety of testing methodologies and tools, the Lab Technician position is responsible for testing the product at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure customer requirements and safety standards are met.
What you will do:
- Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspection of product mechanical properties including, but not limited to, tensile strength, hardness, and discontinuities.
- Use tensile machine, hardness tester, mounting and polishing machines, and magnetic particle inspection to confirm parts meet required mechanical and physical properties.
- Program, setup and operate testing machines consistent with requirements to ensure safe operation.
- Interpret test results against industry standards and customer specifications to confirm product meets all mechanical and safety requirements.
- Communicate with relevant departments regarding product that does not meet specified requirements (non-conformances)
- Log and track results per company procedures using a computer and proprietary software.
- verify and validate material chemistry certs per specified standards.
- Other duties as requested and required.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Magnetic particle inspection certificate preferred. (Training available)
